Every Polar Plank cabin kit is designed to give you the strength of log construction with modern energy performance. Built locally in our Alaskan mill, our patented wall system combines precision engineering with traditional craftsmanship—so you get a shell that’s strong, quick to assemble, and ready for your personal touches.
What’s Included
Your cabin kit arrives with all the major components you need to create a complete shell:

Exterior Walls – Pre-built, insulated log wall panels (R-32 value), Alaska rated-stained exterior and sealed clear satin interior.

Windows & Doors – Double-pane windows and exterior doors (standard package).

Roof System – Pre-cut rafters, ridge beam, roof sheathing, roof felt, 1 run of ice and water shield membrane, and fascia boards.

Interior Structure & Stairs – Stud wall bundle for interior framing. Second-floor joists and subfloor, stair stringers, handrail, and treads as applicable in your cabin floor plan.

Trim – Exterior and interior trim for corners, windows and doors. T&G paneling for ceiling and exterior covered deck ceiling.
What You're Responsible For
To complete your home, you or your contractor will coordinate:

Site Prep & Foundation – Excavation, foundation, first floor and decks.

Construction Services – Boom truck or crane, installation labor, roof finishing, and final sealing.

Interior Systems – Electrical, plumbing, heating, drywall, cabinetry, flooring, and finishes.

Permits & Utilities – Local permits, inspections, and utility hookups.
